What Tomorrow Brings is a feature in which I will share my excitement for upcoming titles that I have read already! When it’s too early to post the review, but still want to create early buzz and hype about the movie, I’ll just share the book in this new feature along with a few reasons why you should get excited about it! What Tomorrow Brings is based on other features like this like Save The Date from The Perpetual Page-Turner and Early Cuddles from Cuddlebuggery!

Reminiscent of Frankenstein and tales by the Brothers Grimm, this debut novel stands out as a compelling, original story that has the feel of a classic.

The city of Bryre suffers under the magic of an evil wizard. Because of his curse, girls sicken and disappear without a trace, and all live in fear. No one is allowed outside after dark. Night is when Kymera comes to the city, with a cloak disguising her wings, the bolts in her neck, and her spiky tail. Her mission is to rescue the girls of Bryre. Despite Kym's caution in going secretively, a boy named Ren sees and befriends her . . . but what he knows will change her world forever.

I received this book for free from the publisher or author in exchange for an honest review.
This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

4.5 Stars

Reasons to be excited:

1: It has that classic fairy tale feel!
If you’re a fan of classic fairy tales, this is perfect for you! The writing really does a good job of giving you the feeling you’re reading one of those classic Brothers Grimm fairy tales you know and love. And because of that, even though it’s middle grade, adults can (and will) enjoy this too!

2: A lot of nods to Frankenstein.
Yes, there are! Though I’m not very familiar with the story as I have not read it or seen the movie, I know the overall story and this book does give a lot of nods to that and if you’re a fan of Frankenstein, you’ll love this one too. At least I hope you do.

3: It had me hooked from the first page to the last!
I could not put this down and even when I did, it didn’t leave my thoughts. So just… make sure you have a few hours to yourself before you start this. Plus that cover, people. That’s what sold this book to me in the first place.

4: Kymera’s story hit me right in the feels.
The story is told from Kymera’s eyes from the moment she wakes up and yes, the whole story was a bunch of feels for this strange girl. So many feels. I even needed a tissue in the end. FEELS!

FEELS!

So add this book to your TBR, go to Edelweiss and get it if you can and read it! READ IT I TELL YOU! My non-gif, real review will be up closer to release.
