{Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge} My Life in Photos

Posted June 17, 2020 by Leah in Memes & Features, Weekly Wednesday Blogging Challenge / 12 Comments

Welcome to the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge. It’s a fun way of branching out and meeting fellow bloggers hosted by Long and Short Reviews. **NOTE: So it only took me how many weeks to realize I’ve been calling this weekly challenge by its incorrect name. Apologies.**

This week’s topic is the blogger’s life in photos or GIFs. I chose photos because photography is one of my joys. Some of these might look familiar but for those who are new here, I hope you enjoy!

Hi, I’m Leah. I’m pretty shy (I should amend and say cautious) until you get to know me.

I like books, storytelling, and words a lot. Here I am with my sister at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.

I also like meeting the people who write my favorite books, like Laini Taylor.

Travel is one of my passions.

(First photo is in New Orleans, LA; second is the Space Needle in Seattle, WA. I’m saving up for international travel.)

I love animals and plants.

(Zebras found at the Los Angeles Zoo; orchids at Descanso Gardens; trail in the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden.)

I like taking photos of things that catch my interest

(Roof of the State Capitol Building in Sacramento; Bubblegum Wall in Seattle; Chihuly installation at Chihuli Garden and Glass in Seattle)

And things that speak to my nerd heart

(Photos taken at various conventions; Ghostbusters photo from Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights)

I try to live by the words attributed to Confucius: Wherever you go, go with all your heart.

Thanks for traveling the path with me!
