I'm an avid reader (since I learned to read at age four) and a book blogger (since May, 2011).I read mostly YA, but I also read romance, new adult and some middle grade.

Born in Puerto Rico, hola :), military wife for 22-years, and mother of three boys.I work full time doing something else that I love (sadly I don't get paid for reading!)

The Alchemists of Loom was so good! I was not expecting to see it on anyone’s list because it is kind of underrated. I have loved all of Elise Kova’s books, and I am reading Fire Falling right now. Her writing is so amazing and her fantasy worlds are so unique. I wish her books were more hyped up!

  2. The Forgetting is such an amazing read, and so underrated at that! I’m glad that you loved it. I haven’t read any other book from your list other than Roar, which I really didn’t enjoy at all, but I want to try Duels & Deception. It sounds like my kind of read!
Hope the rest of the year is also filled with more awesome books! 🙂

  3. Liza!
I have a lot of these books on my TBR. The Star Touched Queen sounds so lovely, and I want to read this companion series soon. And, Laini Taylor’s work is also on my TBR. I can’t wait to read these books so we can discuss them together!

Tell Me Three Things made my favorites list back in 2015. After that I read Buxbaum’s other books, and am a solid fan. I was so delighted by Duels & Deception, that I want to read more from Anstey. I loved Kova’s first series, and really want to get to Loom. The Forgetting is on my list too, and Roar. I am even more excited about them, since you liked them so much.
