Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It’s all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you my excitement for my newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!
New on my shelves
For Review
~ Cipher by Aileen Erin
I got this yesterday on Netgalley! It sounds cool and I hope I’ll like it. My eARC has 198 pages so I think it’ll be a fast read too! That cover is quite beautiful too!
Purchased
~ Stay With Me by J. Lynn
~ Salt & Storm by Kendall Kulper
~ The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
Of course I bought Stay With Me. I’ve loved this series so far and I need to read this as soon as I’m in the mood for the genre. I’m on a fantasy roll right now. Which is why I bought Salt & Storm and The Warrior Heir. The latter has been recommended a lot and I’m going to start it this weekend. The other one has been receiving fairly positive reviews so I’m curious! I’m not a big historical fan, but still.
This week on the blog and in my life!

~ I’m working on a new feature that will replace this one! It’ll be mostly the same but the name will be different and unique. Look out for that in the next few weeks!
~ On Saturday (thus today when you’re reading this) I’m going to the Boekenfestijn (bookfest) here in the city with my best friend Stephanie. They have hundreds of books that are on sale for at least a 60% discount, which is awesome. I’ll make pictures!

YouTube video of the Week!
I’m so excited for this movie you guys! It releases in November in the US but here in Belgium it doesn’t release until February, which is really unfair. But it looks awesome and I hope they show it in the original language, English instead of only the sucky Dutch dub they showed when I wanted to see How To Train Your Dragon 2.
I’m going to leave you with this beautiful video. I found this guy yesterday and he just takes my breath away. To think that there are kids like Justin Bieber getting record labels because of youtube but gems like this man remain unnoticed. What’s wrong with the world?
What’s new for you this week?

I’m so excited to read Stay With Me! I think I might start it tonight. I’ve heard some great things about The Warrior Heir, too. I hope you enjoy all of your books 🙂

I got Stay with Me this week as well! I read Warrior Heir (the first two books in the series), but I haven’t continued, it’s good though. My co-blogger really liked Salt & Storm.
I might take my son to see the Disney movie soon 🙂
I always hate to see how there is so much talent in the world that doesn’t get acknowledge.. You are only popular now when you can make a lot of drama, because it’s no longer about how good you can sing. I can’t wait for Big Hero 6 <3
Firstly, thanks for the linkup! 🙂
I’m very curious what you’ll think of The Warrior Heir! Cinda Williams Chima has been recommended to me countless times, so I have high expectations, haha.
Also how was Boekenfestijn?? 😀

Fun, it was nice to see my best friend again. 🙂 They didn’t have a lot of books I wanted though. Not in English anyway. 😛

Stay with Me was a great book. Not as good as Be with Me but I still enjoyed it a lot. Jax is amazing! <3
Boekenfestijn is awesome! I always go when it's in Antwerp and back in May I found a great number books. I'm actually going next week to the one in Brussels. Gotta love cheap books! Have fun!
Happy Reading!
I am curious to see what you’ll think of Salt & Storm! Absolutely loved that YouTube song. It was so emotional and beautifully sung. I definitely agree with you.
Have a great week, loverly! <33

It’s from Les Miserables! 🙂 He definitely sung it with the right emotions, he should be on broadway singing that song!
