No Internet & In A (little) Slump

Posted November 24, 2014 by Bee in Other / 8 Comments

So last week I suddenly lost my internet. The modem broke and I was with internet from Thursday to Saturday. Yes, that’s the reason I didn’t post my weekly recap on Saturday. So when I finally got my Internet back I didn’t really feel like going through three days worth of blog posts on bloglovin and I decided to push back my weekly recap a week. But seriously, it wasn’t fun. It reminded me how much I do every day on the internet. A lot.

Anyway, that’s why I was MIA last week. Sorry guys!

Also, I’m in a slump. A bit. It’s a good thing my Holiday hiatus is coming closer! I just don’t feel like reading that much lately. I do have a system (sort of) that works for me. But still. Don’t feel like reading? Don’t. I’ve been watching anime and writing (hallelujah!), so that’s all good too. But because of the slump, some plans changed for my reviews for Sci Fi Month. I won’t get to reading The Body Electric and I actually DNF’ed A Thousand Pieces of You so. I won’t be reading The 5th Wave either. I think my Sci-Fi mood is over and if I’m not in the mood, I know I won’t enjoy it. The 5th Wave is Dystopian and Sci-Fi and Aliens so I really need to be in the mood to read it. I will read it someday, though. Just not now.

Anyways, that’s all I wanted to say for now. My review for Captive will be up tomorrow so be sure to check it out then!

  1. I was recently in a slump too so I know how you feel. I took a break for a week and then chose a book to read for pleasure and it worked! Hopefully you’ll be back into it soon, enjoy writing and anime in the meantime!

  2. Too bad you’re in a slump. I hate when that happens but you’re right, if you don’t want to read then just don’t. There’s no need for pushing yourself, right? The same goes for blogging, in my opinion.

I’m definitely gonna read your review of Captive! I want to read the book once it comes out so I’m curious to see what you think of it. =)
