{Liza’s Coming Trip to NYC and BEA}

Posted May 16, 2017 by Liza in BEA / 7 Comments

Hi there gorgeous readers!  Last year I couldn’t go to Book Expo America (BEA) since it moved to Chicago so I’m really looking forward to BEA in NYC city this year.  My friend Jachy has come with me to every BEA – this will be our 5th time – and we will be repeating the drive together. I’m in planning mode for schedules, bags, snacks, shoes, outfits. It’s such an amazing experience and can’t wait for the next couple of weeks to go by 🙂

What Else I’m Looking Forward To

Jachy bought tickets for us (THANKS!) to see Wicked and I’m SO excited about this.  I cannot wait to go to Broadway and see this musical.

It’s a tradition for us to buy delicious, gorgeous, delicate macaroons.  Some make it back to our families 🙂

Amazing books, seeing friends, bloggers and publishers, good food, Strand bookstore.

If you know of any special treats, restaurants or places we should do, let me know!

Here are some previous BEA posts that might be helpful to you.

Are you going to BEA?

If you are, this is what I look like:

Come say hi and ask me for a bookmark since I always bring a few with me.

Have you been to BEA?  Are you planning to? Do you have any questions for me? Are you also waiting for some of these books?

  1. Ahhhhh, so very jealous! It’s been my dream to go to BEA but I just can never swing it with leaving my kids. It’s only a 6hr train ride away too. *cries* Maybe someday. All those books you mentioned are the ones I would be thirsting over if I went too, especially WW and Warcross. I hope you can get every one of them! And enjoy Wicked! I’d love to see it on Broadway. I went to the traveling show for the first time a couple months ago and loved it so much. Have a lot of fun! 🙂
