Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it.
New Berlin, 2040. Rebels prepare to fight against the New World Order, bent on bringing down the world’s greatest tyrant. One girl wanted nothing to do with it, content to keep her head down and make the best of this new world. That is, until she has no choice but to work with the rebels and infiltrate the NWO headquarters. Every moment she spends there puts her in danger, especially when one man, the second in command to the New World leader, continues to make his way into her every thought. She must stay focused and protect not just her mind and body, but also her heart. Will she be able to complete her task without being unmasked? Or will the one man standing in her way ruin it all?

Finally I was able to read Masked and I loved it! Masked is fantastic sequel to Switch and once I started it, I literally could not put it down!
The story starts of where Switch ended. Bridgette is masquerading as Weapon X/Dinah/Charlotte at the NWO Headquarters on her father’s orders, because he threatened to hurt Charlotte if she didn’t do what he wanted. Naturally Bridgette tries to get into the role her sister has played for years, but being Weapon X is not as easy as it seems, especially when you count the deadly but sexy Roman Adamson, Ludwig’s right hand mand and a very close friend of Charlotte since she became Weapon X/Dinah. And then there Charlotte, who’s been rescued from the clutches of her insane father Douglas and now safely in the arms of Pete McKay. But when she discovers that her sister has taken her place at the NWO headquarters, she and the other rebels will do anythign to get her back, even ask the help of the Archers.
So all in all the story was just awesome, I really can’t say much more than that, it was just awesomeand I am sooooooooooooo grateful I have an ARC of Tested lying around here, so I can read what happens next, right after this review is written.
Let’s talke characters now. There’s so many of them, so I’m gonna stick with the ones who’s names I remember and who we read about most. Which are of course Charlotte and Pete and gosh they’re just utterly adorable together!! They’re both such strong characters with strong personalities and I liked that about them a lot. Then we have Bridgette, who’s softer than Charlotte, because she hasn’t seen what Charlotte has. And we also have Roman, oh smexy Roman, Bridgette is so lucky to have that man, for a lover and I loved how sweet and gentle he is with her and how ferocious and deadly he can be when he’s fighting and protecting the NWO cause.
All right, I’m gonna stop right there or I’m gonna talk all day about this book. I’m just gonna go and start reading Tested now. So I can finally see how it will all end.
