4.5 Stars

Okay so …. nope, I thought I was able to say something worthwhile, but at the moment I’m just speechless.

Seriously I need a moment.

Okay, I think I can manage now.

Seriously, Dara WTF?!

Kat-napped is NOTHING like Kat Scratch Fever. It’s dark and twisted and god I just couldn’t take it all anymore after the book was over. This is some seriously dark shit. Damn, I don’t know how Dara does it, but her books make my head spin and make me crave them like a drug, this trilogy is no different.

I know I’m weird but because Kat-napped is so dark and twisted and utterly gorgeous in its darkness, I LOVED it. I still think Kat is to naive and too impulsive but if she hadn’t been, she wouldn’t have gotten herself kidnapped and then sold off to Conrad, a vampire of all things, and become a Blood Slave who is addicted to the bites. And geez this story is just fucking awesome and I enjoyed it immensly!

However one downside is, again we didn’t get to see much of Jason and my “like” for my is gone now. It’s not that I dislike him, I’m just … indifferent about him. Still in love with James though, he’s shaping up to be a guy I wouldn’t mind having all to myself to be honest.

And seriously the Marc twist? I hated it, it was good don’t get me wrong, but god I just wanted to strangle that guy. I hated what he had become. But I guess that’s what also makes Kat-napped so awesome.

And I’m off to read Kat-astrophe now (the Beta version), which I’m terribly happy about because it means I get to know how the Trilogy ends before most of the other readers do (excluding the other beta readers).
