Prepare to be... Charmed!

Daisy le Fey is good at a lot of things. Math, science, accidentally turning people into pumpkins... Unfortunately, she's not good at the one thing hiring managers look for when filling open positions for magical beings: Magic.

When she jeopardizes her apprenticeship by getting involved with sexy mortal Trevor Masterson, it's one disaster too many. In order to stay out of purgatory, she's going to have to ditch the human—and her one chance at true love.

I received this book for free from the publisher or author in exchange for an honest review.

4 Stars

So this book is about Daisy who is the daughter of a Fairy Godmother and a Guardian Angel, but somehow she doesn’t have magic herself and is a bit of an outcast in her world, Nether-Netherland. She’s actually a scientist and uses her capabilities to help her get magic and earn her wings. Of course things go wrong and she ends up screwing up her first assignment and meets Trevor an anthropologist (I think, did I spell that right?). I must admit that the story is somewhat predictable but the flow of it, the dialogue and the characters make up for it.

Anyway the story was really fun to read and I really enjoyed it too. I liked Daisy, even I found her a bit naive at times during the story, also she can be a bit kluzty too, but overal I liked her. Trevor, well I liked him too but there were times I just wanted to bash his head in for being a jerk to Daisy sometimes. Also I loved Maeve, she’s the lovable, yet sarcastic and comic friend that is always around and the funniest part of it all is because she’s a Pegasi and work in traffic control, I’m mean seriously? I also love Bubbles, the were-frog, a pet that Daisy keeps around. And then there are Daisy’s parents who are both cool in their own way. I must say that I hate Vivian, Daisy’s Fairy Tooth Mentor from the very beginning, she’s just nasty.

Also I have to mention this, due to the fact that it has sexual content I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone under 17, at least. On the other hand the hanky-panky scenes were hot and I loved reading them.

So far all these reasons I’m giving this book 4 stars and definitely worth taking a looksie for all you readers over 17 years of age.
