Epic and his brothers don’t rob strip clubs for fun or fame, but to use the electronic currency to take care of their family. With androids and robots flooding the job market, it’s almost impossible for humans to find work. Besides, stealing comes easy to the gang, until Phoenix steps into their lives, snatching away their bounty and fogging up Epic’s mind with her seductive scent.

Shots blare. A chase ensues. Both sides refuse to yield. And the small compromise that comes is brought by chains and a promise for a bigger hit—on a planet far away from earth.

Can Epic and Phoenix work together to rescue themselves from poverty? Or will they find another type of redemption, one lathered in lust and warmth, pleasure, and the type of undemanding love that no human can live without?

I don’t really know how to describe this book exactly. I really liked it! Yeah there were some things I didn’t like, but it was good none the less. I’ve never read cyberpunk before, but I like it! This is a hot, breathtaking, fast-paced and pretty great book.

The story is about Epic and Phoenix. Epic lives with his brothers and sisters and takes care of them after their parent’s dead. He and his brothers Shade and Toy rob clubs, a lot, in order to survive. One night, while robbing another club, they meet Phoenix. She’s a tough girl with a past and Epic can’t deny that he is insanely attracted to her. With his brothers, sisters and Phoenix they travel to another planet because, well… Earth is a pretty shitty place to live. There they work together to rob another club. Can Epic and Phoenix work together or will they find another kind of redemption? One full of lust, warmth, pleasure and the kind of love every human can’t live without.

Like I said, this book was pretty great. It’s written by Kenya Wright and D.T. Dyllin. The lather is one of my favorite authors and I knew before starting this novel she was a great writer. I’ve never read anything by Kenya before, but I sure will after this novel! They make a great team! The story is original, hot and fast-paced. That’s one of the only things that bothered me. The romance was rushed. Maybe a bit to much. It didn’t really feel like insta-love, because it was more about lust in the beginning, so that’s good. The erotic scenes are written very well, but again, I expected no less from D.T. Dyllin. So yeah, good story, good writing,… Just good! 😀

The characters are what made this book great for me. I loved Epic and Phoenix. Epic is a hot, cool guy and Phoenix is a tough girl who can kick some serious ass. Next to that are Shade and Toy awesome and the other brothers and sisters are cool too, although we don’t see much of them in the book. So great characters! Yay! 😀

So if you like this genre, you’ll probably really like this book. If you just want a hot romance with a twist, I suggest you try this book too. Hopefully, you’ll like it! 😀
