Bee Presents: Hidden Stars!

Posted April 17, 2018 by Bee in Hidden Stars / 5 Comments

After thinking about blogging and doubting myself and my voice in the community, I was inspired by all of you to find something I could offer others that is of value to the community. So I decided to revive a feature I started a few years ago but that kind of fell asleep. And that is Hidden Stars, the feature in which I showcase (review, spotlight, interview, giveaway) a lesser known author and their book so they get the chance to be in the spotlight.

BUT of course there are some rules.

~ Hidden Stars is a feature for books with less than 500 reviews on Goodreads.

~ If I happen to rate it lower than 3 stars I won’t post the review and change the post to an interview or spotlight feature instead, because that’s the purpose of this feature.

I’m not sure yet how often the feature will be. I’m hoping at least once a month, depending on how many authors are willing to participate.

Are you an author and do you want to participate? Awesome! Go read this page to see how.

How can you, my fellow blogger/reader, help? By sharing this post on social media or just spreading the word of this service by tweeting about it etc. Just get the word out, and you’ll be golden.

I hope this works out and that I can build it into something bigger somewhere along the road.

What do you think of this feature? Let me know in the comments!

  1. This is a fabulous feature, and I cannot wait to see it! It’s so great too because we always hear about the popular books, but some of the best books I have read are more under the radar types, so you could be helping so many people find new favorites- and help out some worthy authors while doing it!
